Volunteer Process
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with BFM! We are committed to making this volunteering process easy and enjoyable. Listed below is the process of what you can expect when you sign on the volunteer at one of our stores:
- An application and reference form need to be completed and reviewed by the volunteer co-coordinator. Please do not feel intimidated by this form, it is simply to help our stores to collect your information and it allows for you to be properly placed in one of the many positions in our stores.
- An initial interview with the volunteer coordinator will take place.
- Volunteer placement will be made in an area of expressed interest, suitability and availability. This will be followed by additional training in the area you are the most comfortable to work in.
- As a volunteer you will attend an orientation process (you will spend some time reviewing the stores policies, procedures, and how the store is operated)
Please visit your local BFM Thrift Store to obtain a volunteer application. You can click here to find the location closest to you.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the Director of Store Development for your area (located in our Contact Us Section)
